Acoustical Design for Middle Schools

Sound reverberation is a key issue in middle school classrooms, common areas, music rooms and gymnasiums.  Our services help control for this issue.

Importance

A reverberation is created when a sound is reflects off of hard surfaces creating echoes within the space.  It is essential that reverberation is controlled to allow for speech intelligibility.

Our Expertise

We are continually active on acoustical design for middle school renovations and new construction.  We pride ourselves on challenging the ordinary with fresh ideas and concepts.  For example, standard decking systems are often unable to provide enough sound absorption to effectively manage reverberation.  So, we have been involved in the development of ceiling and decking systems with a higher acoustical performance but also allow us to stay within a tight project budget.
